What Are Best friends For?

Hello, all my readers! I know its been awhile since my last post, but I'm back and ready to blog away again. :) So, I have a question for you all? Have you ever had a friend you're so close with and so connected to that when you two get together every experience just seems better? I think we all have someone like that, whether they are blood or not. For me, that person is Rebecca, the girl in the photo to the left. We met in high school and since then, have basically been bffnes (best friends forever and eternity). Even when I went to PA for college and she stayed back home in Baltimore we kept in contact and  kept a connection. It wasn't always easy, but we did it.

I think we all have heard the saying "what are friends for?" What are best friends for? Well, I would like to answer that question. Best friends are for...

Random fashion shows and dance parties.
When you get together with your bffne things just happen. Random crazy fun things that will serve as your best memories later in life. And you know what? If I had the chance to do a real photo shoot, I am 110% sure it would not have been as memorable and awesome as this one that was done in my friend's small messy bedroom at ten at night.

Late night buffets.
When I'm around Rebecca we get hungry. We have pretty big appetites as individuals, but together we're basically ravenous beasts. And the best things is that with your bffne you don't have to feel any shame. What's that? You want a fourth slice of cake? No problem, I want one, too!

Meeting other friends.
Even though you have your bffne, you both probably have your own set of friends. If your bffne gets along with these people then, chances are you will, as well. Meeting new people? The more the merrier, I say.

Silly spontaneous photos.
Rebecca brings out the crazy side in me. Sometimes I just gotta freak out!

New adventures.
Best friends encourage you to be fearless. They see the potential in you that you can't see in yourself and they pick at it until it become clear for all to see. It may be annoying at first, but in the end you'll thank them for being nags.

To save you when you're drowning (literally and metaphorically).
High school wasn't easy for me, but Rebecca was always there just like I was always there for her. When Rebecca and I went to Maine we went swimming in a lake close to our hotel. I knew how to swim, but I had never gone swimming in an open body of water. Needless to say I panicked and also needless to say she doggy paddled my lame ass back to shore. A bus of kids and their extremely hot camp counselors watched this entire process. She's never held against me, though, not once. And that is what best friends are for....or at least that's my opinion. I don;t know if you all agree or not, but I would like to hear what you think? Actually, how about this? Who is your best friend and what's the craziest thing you two have ever done? Don't hold back the details. Until next time!! :)
